Job Title: Maintenance Technician (Electrical, Mechanical & Hydraulics) – Brick Plant
Location: Qwa Qwa, Free State
Daily Transport from Bethlehem will be available
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Brick Plant in Qwa Qwa.
The role
involves hands-on maintenance and repairs on brick manufacturing machines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic maintenance and repairs on production machinery
• Fault finding and troubleshooting on electrical systems, mechanical components, and
hydraulic equipment
• Welding and basic fabrication when required
• Preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns and downtime
• General plant maintenance and improvements
Requirements:
• Strong electrical background and experience
• Good working knowledge of hydraulic systems and machinery
• Solid mechanical skills and experience
• Welding experience (especially arc/stick welding) will be a big advantage
• Previous experience in a factory, plant, or heavy machinery environment is preferred
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure
