WE ARE HIRING!!
We are looking to employ a Project Manager or Foreman to join our team. We are a well established Construction company in the Cape Town area.
Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering/Construction Management will be advantages
Knowledge: Will be responsible for the planning and overseeing of different types of construction projects from initiation to closing.
Must be able to set up a construction program.
Will be responsible to manage projects according to the program.
Ordering all material ahead of time as per program, checking and signing off and approve.
Tracks costing on site will be another responsibility.
Signing off on sub-contractors claims, after measuring with them on site.
Manage labour and sub-contractors, oversee their progress. Assigning tasks according to program.
Will be responsible to complete the projects on time, within budget and without waste.
ATTENTION TO DETAIL
Literate to read Structural, Civil, Mechanical and Electrical engineering drawings.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of working in Construction company on building sites. 0-5 if you have an Engineering qualification.
Site based as the project requires
Bilingual in English and Afrikaans
Code 08 License
Own Transport will be advantageous
Own Cell phone
Software: Computer Literate in Microsoft office, Google drive
Experience/skills: Good knowledge in Sub-Contractor Claims and Contract Procedures.
Good knowledge of building practices , and NHBRC.
Experience in building of luxury upmarket houses from start to completion.
Experience in building of factories or warehouse from start to completion.
Work with full Professional team of architects, engineers and QS.
Drive productivity.
Will be responsible for Labour relations on site, issue of warnings, time keeping.
Adhering to H&S regulations.
Hands on approach to leadership, be on site, delegating and explaining work to labour.
Evaluation and reporting on productivity of workers, equipment and sub-contractors.
