Owner: Helen Sparg - Qualified as a Horticulturist after 3 years at Cape Town Technikon under the guidance and tuition of the remarkable, plant fanatic and artist Mrs. After being Awarded the prize for BEST DESIGN STUDENT in my final year, I travelled around SA working in various nurseries harvesting a vast knowledge and experience abouthe Plant and Landscaping World. After a year setting up a n
ew Nursery at Fancourt, I decided to start my own business in 2000. I have been interviewed by the Daily Dispatch twice on my projects and by The National SA Gardening Magazine. Please see the Logo's of some of our Corporate clients. A big thank you to my staff to being an integral part of making things happen! We have done work in the Transkei for Government Projects and in and around the East London area. The Department of Tourism awarded an Environmental Rehabilitation project for the Hluleka Game Reserve on the magnificent Wild Coast. As the Green Industry has eveolved so much in the 20 years of my experience, there is a great movement towards more organic principles being applied, as well as a greater need for smaller gardens as our living spaces are getting smaller and smaller. It has all been so exciting and implementing and challenging new ideas. Gardening trends are like clothing architecture & decor - they evolve with the fashion of the times. I have worked with Architects on bigger projects right down to tiny townhouse gardens. Everyone deserves a garden. It simply improves the quality of your life, surroundings and sense of well being.
