“First Defence” Gate Alarm Board.

This is a stand-alone board that can be fitted to any gate and gate motor.

When the gate is tampered with, a siren will sound at the gate immediately. Infrared beam input. When beams are on the outside of the gate and tampered with, the siren will go off.

When a normal remote triggers, the alarm will be silent until it reaches the input setting, such as the limit switch on sliding gate motors or the magnetic reader on swing gates.
This board can be connected to the house alarm as well.
This board is powered by 12V DC. When the gate motor is a 220V, a stand-alone battery backup unit can be fitted and the alarm will remain active, even during loadshedding.

The intruder will not attempt further tampering once the siren is active right at the gate.
When any of the cables are cut, the siren will activate , due to the N/C contacts that are being used, thus cutting cables will set the alarm off, and will deter any would be intruder.
The board is called " First Defense" because the gate is the first entry point to the premises and will detect any tampering and the siren will activate, thus scaring the intruders off.
This board is easy to wire up, and you need to purchase the siren, and for swing gates, the magnetic reader. All wiring can be done within minutes, and once the board is powered up, the gate will be protected.

The retail price of this board is R450-00.

This board will be available from 25 March 2020. We are the developers and manufacturers of this board and technical assistance will be available via this number.

Service & Clean of Gate Motors

We book the motor in for a service and clean, this is where we take the motor completely apart, clean it and service the motor. Should we come across any parts that need to be replaced like bearings, washers and or major components, we inform our clients accordingly prior to any actions taking place. The motor will be given back to you looking brand new as we strive to our slogan – Gate Motors that are Build to Last.

We have clients to confirm that their Remez motors lasts up to 20 to 30 years as we believe in providing our clients with a product that will last.

Remez Gate Operators (Pty) Ltd – Under New Management

We at Remez Gate Operators have heard a lot of stories that Remez closed down. Pruis Group bought the intellectual properties from Alan (the previous owner of Remez) and is currently based in Germiston. We have not closed down as we are still in the market with the intentions to make the wrongs right when it comes to the motors. We are in the process of re-designing faulty engineering parts that cause problems like the gears and also the parts that affect the life span of your motor.

We have already re-designed a completely new board that has a lot more functions to accommodate any and every need. The new board named AC 220v Swing V.3 can be placed in any AC motor. We have met up with our agents and designed the board according to the client’s needs. If you need it, we can do our best to provide it.

We believe in providing our clients with a service and a product that will do what it’s designed for and last.

Remez bought the intellectual properties of Sudheim and is now a part of Remez Gate Operators. We service and repair Sudheim motors as well as Remez gate motors. Our factory trained technicians can assist you with any technical problem.

We operate from Germiston in Elandsfontein.

Gate Motor PC Board Repairs

Remez Gate Operators (Pty) Ltd have trained technicians that will be able to assist you in fault finding with your gate motor PC board. All we require is the board, if a technician is available; we test and repair the board while you wait.

We will attempt to save you money as we will try and repair your board before we advise to buy a new board, unless the board is discontinued or un-repairable.

Our designers and technicians are in the process of redesigning the old discontinued boards as we have had problems with the old design. We are completely redesigning the whole board to better the functions as well as provide our clients with a safer and more reliable product.

Gate Motor Services

Remez has approved agents that will come to your premises and remove the motor, bring it to our factory for a service and repair, when the motors are ready our approved agents will bring the motor back to your premises and install the motor with a warranty. We do not recommend that any agency work on the motors as we are the sole manufacturers and have trained technicians who has years of experience and qualifications to work with the motors and provide our clients with the best service possible.

Our turnaround time on a motor service is maximum 3 days, should we be unable to repair the motor within the 3 day period, we will advise our clients accordingly.

Gate Motor Fault Finding

Remez Gate Operators believes in providing our clients with the best service, we provide our clients with free fault finding manuals that can be downloaded on our website. We assist our clients in the best way possible and advise accordingly. We do not take responsibility for damages caused by unapproved agents as well as human error.

Remez & Sudheim Gate Motors

We service, clean and repair all kinds of Remez and Sudheim gate motors. As the sole manufacturers of the Remez and Sudheim motors, we repair, service and clean the motor as well as provide new motors on request. When an order is placed for a new motor, there is a waiting period of 2 weeks, we require a deposit to be paid prior to any manufacturing taking place with the balance to be paid upon collecting the motor.

Good morning,

WE HAVE A NEWLY DESIGNED AND IMPROVED AC 220v SWING GATE PC BOARD FOR STANDARD, HEAVY DUTY AND FAST MODELS (CAN ALSO BE USED ON ANY OTHER MAKE OF 220v SWING GATE MOTORS).

MANUFACTURED AND RECOMMENDED BY REMEZ GATE OPERATORS.

The functions of the new 220v swing gate board is as follows:

SINGLE SWING GATE / DOUBLE SWING GATE
Dip switch activation for single / double swing gate: - single only runs on Motor 1

LOCK / LIP FUNCTION
Dip switch Activation Required - Relay is configured dual for Normally Open & Normally Close inputs. At relay output: - Input 1 + 3 = N/C, Input 2 + 3 = N/O: Lock Relay will activate, then Motor 1 will first open, Motor 2 will start +- 2 seconds after Motor 1. Fully open or Partially open, Motor 2 will always close first, then Motor 1 will follow.

LIGHT OPTION
Light relay already fitted. The connection must be made to the LIGHT terminal pins on the PC Board.

INFRA-RED BEAMS - (INF) : - ( L.E.D INDICATOR ON BOARD)
Power for both the Infra-red Transmitter and the Infra-red Receiver is available from either the 24V or 12V and the -- pin connectors on the PC Board. The trigger from the Infra-red receiver must be connected to the pin marked INF. The NEG and COMMON on the Infra-red Receiver must be bridged.

AUTO CLOSE
If the AUTO CLOSE switch on the PC Board, is switched on, the gate will close after the selected delay time has elapsed. This can be set from 5 to 75 seconds.

TOWN HOUSE TRIGGER - (L.E.D. INDICATOR ON BOARD)
This input is now separate from the Normal Full Control Trigger input. Loop Detector can be used. Ensure Auto Close is switched on, for this Trigger only opens the gate.

PEDESTRIAN FACILITY - (L.E.D INDICATOR ON BOARD)
When activated with a Normally Open contact, only Motor 1 will activate - opens for 1 Meter. Then Auto Close after 5 seconds, I.R. Beam will not respond.

LOCK OUT MODE - (L.E.D. INDICATOR ON BOARD)
On the 180 degree swing only - The O.B.S input - when activated with a Latching Normally Open Contact. Once Activated the Gate Controller will not respond to any other TRIGGER input, to open the gate.
