BSE shares our deepest condolences to the families affected by the floods in KwaZulu-Natal, we mourn for the lives lost and our prayers are with those that have yet to be found. The urgent need for disaster relief is apparent, these floods have demolished roads and bridges, and have separated families and communities from necessities, making everyday life inaccessible.

BSE, having emergency stock available, is ready and eager to assist in the management of the flood crisis. Our technicians have already been deployed to key points in the KZN area to assist with the repercussions affecting certain industries.

Bse is excited to to announce the arrival of a new of a new member to the BSE team, we will be using the specialist services of a brilliant PrEng to assist in the expansion of our bridge programme.

Watch this space for the new BSE Modular Pedestrian Bridge. A new addition to BSE’s portfolio and a much needed contribution to the disaster relief effort, particularly in the KwaZulu-Natal and East Cost areas.

Round 2 of the BSE Christmas Charity Drive Deliveries and this time we visited the Spruit Community in Centurion!

With approximately 150 hampers donated, community leader Setladi was a helping hand in coordinating the distribution.

Christmas time is upon us and as we all know, families in need and individuals in various communities go without sufficient food, shelter, and essential medical care every day due to a variety of factors including low income, job loss, illness, age, and domestic violence.

Whilst all of us are susceptible to difficult times, there are those who are certainly at greater risk and sadly, they make up the greater population.

During this Festive Season we have been afforded the opportunity to GIVE BACK! BSE along with our generous donors, Excess Underwriters, Tanks, Finance, Moulded Products have come together to create Christmas Hampers for those in need.

Along with these hampers, our members have come together to collect clothes to give to those less fortunate and in need of some Christmas Spirit!

This week we visited both King’s Hope SA and Dimphonyana Tsa Lapeng Centre in Olievenhoutbosch to distribute these Hampers.
We would love to give a huge THANKS to all our donors and to the community leaders in Olievenhoutbosch for helping us coordinate this initiative!

BSE is ecstatic to witness the Maye community in Hoffenthal experiencing the benefits of the newly erected Bridge! We are both proud and privileged to have been a part of this awesome Project!

The Bridge has connected communities, allowing its members to make the Bridge its new meeting point! Aside from the jovial aspects, its key element -providing safe passage- has been achieved! This Bridge will stand the test of time!

We urge community members to continue supporting the Project and owning their Bridge, look after it, it is yours! We are looking forward to even more progress with the Welisizwe Project!

It is with immense pride that BSE, in partnership with the SANDF and DPWI, leaves the Mona Community in KZN with a brand new Bridge. This Bridge will give the community safe passage to much needed amenities, including clinics, schools and places of work- which was previously unavailable or too dangerous to attempt.

What an amazing feat and an awesome example of teamwork!

Site Coordinator needed for the KwaZulu Natal Region, reporting on a daily basis to HQ Johannesburg, Gauteng.

Successful Candidate will Monitor and Service ongoing and existing building (Rural Bridges) projects on a daily basis and provide detailed reporting.

Must be able to travel at short notice to various sites within the KZN region.

Basic Computer Literacy Required; Excel is advantageous.

Previous experience in a similar capacity is advantageous.

We are looking for a highly qualified Contracts Officer with skills in Administration to help support our daily activities.

Duties & Requirements
• Proven work as a Contracts Officer.
• Co-ordinate activities within the company related to specific projects.
• Provide authoritative guidance to internal business teams on corporate goals and objectives related to contract activities.
• Solid Knowledge of MS Office (Microsoft 365) and Pastel.
• Support national and international contracting activities by reviewing and analyzing contract requirements, specific provisions, Terms and Conditions, to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, corporate policies and business unit procedures.
• Strong organizational skills with problem solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• BA/BCom/ relevant diplomas
• Experience with negotiations and developing strategies for such.
• Proactive, Positive, Hard-working.

Skills:
• Liaise on all aspects of contractual matters.
• Work with High-Level Managers.
