Please take note of an incident that occurred yesterday, 21 October 2026, involving fraudulent Ermelo Toyota purchase orders presented at a local business in Ermelo.
Had the sales consultant not contacted Ermelo Toyota to verify the purchase orders, the suspects could potentially have obtained goods to the value of R80,000 fraudulently.
This incident highlights the importance of verifying purchase orders and confirming transactions directly with the relevant company before releasing any goods.
