This page was born out of 2 life-changing events that unfolded during the past few years.
My hobby, or passion as it were, has always been growing my own food, and plants in general.
Firstly, the recent Cape Town water crisis resulted in just about every plant in my garden dying. This led me to research water-saving solutions and intelligent irrigation systems.
My work as a Danish speaking tour-guide often took me away from my garden for up to 3 weeks at a time, so finding ways to keep plants alive in my absence became a compulsive mission.
Secondly, my income disappeared in March when international tourists stopped visiting our country.
My golly goodness, how the tables have turned........suddenly Cape Town has water, but I don't have no job 🤣
It made sense therefore, to develop my plant passion, and what I have learnt and experienced, into a business.
Please follow my journey as I publish my gardening successes, and even my failures as we learn just as much about what NOT to do as well as what TO do!
I will present wacky design systems and great ideas for "small space abundance" by using plants to provide food and create beauty.
If you have an unused space in your home again, whether it be on a balcony or stoeps, an unused wall or even some dreary corner of your garden, then this page will provide a combination of ideas and inspiration to try out yourself at home.
There will also unique products for sale that i make myself, and of course my favourite: workshop offerings.
