🎨🪨🌿 ROCK PAINTING DAY! 🌿🪨🎨

Bring the kids, pack a picnic basket and come join us at Wendy House Playcentre for a fun-filled day of creativity and play! 💛

We’ll be painting colourful rocks to be donated to the Botanical Gardens, and children are more than welcome to get involved and create their very own little masterpiece. 🎨🌸

Once you’re done painting, the kids can enjoy some free play on our playground, while you relax, have a picnic and enjoy some family time. 🧺☀️

PHONE FOUND: FITZROY STREET

This smartphone, with the home screen and stickers on the back pictured, was found on Fitzroy Street near Makana Vet Clinic on Sunday, 23 August. The person who found it was unable to locate the owner and asked for our help.

Please note that the phone is not at Hi-Tec Security. Contact Eric-John on 062 396 4789 to make arrangements to collect it. Proof of ownership will be required.

📱 Description: Black smartphone in a black protective case. The back is decorated with two colourful graffiti-style stickers in pink, green, yellow and black. Both stickers read “NASTY”. The home screen shows a football player on a football field. The phone is locked and requires a passcode to unlock.

🌱 Spring has sprung so let’s show our rivers a little love! 💙

What better way to welcome the first week of spring than by getting outdoors and doing something good for our community?

This Saturday, 5 September, we’re heading to Vukani Upper Bridge for a community River Clean Up, and everyone is welcome - bring the family, bring the kids and come lend a hand.

SALEM
Salem was surrendered to the SPCA Grahamstown as his owner is emigrating. So young to be homeless😢.

Age 16 months old
About Sakem Salem lived on campus, so he is used to people and really likes them a lot (just in case you were wondering). He is a large, strong dog, and his owner reports that he is good with children and other dogs (a meet & greet would be required) and has exceptional toilet manners! He has not been exposed to cats so it is unlikely that he will be cat-friendly. Salem enjoys company and doesn't like to be left alone for a long time. Any potential adopter will need to have a secure property and must be prepared to treat Salem as a family member.

GASTON
Based in Grahamstown, Eastern Cape.
Gaston is a young, playful, BIG, male Doberman with a very sweet nature. He is full of energy and rather loopy❤️. Gaston needs a strong, energetic owner to take him on walks and adventures. He will not cope as a backyard dog and if security is your angle, please do not waste our time as you will be deeply disappointed.
NO CATS! HIGH WALLS required. We are unsure about his reaction to livestock.
Strict homechecks apply and the applicant is required to come and spend time with him in the kennels where we get to check you out too🧐.
