Continuing our posts of projects done over the past 30 years for our 30th Anniversary

Concillium Office Building
Date - 1996
Concillium was the first project I ever did. I was introduced to the project by a beautiful young lady, who became my wife. The request was for a modern building with distinctly sculptural features.

The idea of a sharp elliptical drum shape embedded in a monolithic office block allowed for a powerful decorative entrance with sweeping modern stairs.

I hope the style will stand the test of time.

Intersect Architects is 30 years old in June and for the next two months I am going to page through the projects we have done over the years.
Starting off 30 years back was the co - award winning of the Northern Province Govt building proposal - that I designed and documented, but it was never built. I designed this building four months after I started working 30 years ago.
