Hot off the press (lathe) ... "Wild Camphor Trio".
There's an interesting story attached to these vases. I turned them out of a very old Wild Camphor fence post, purchased by Justin Poggenpoel from a quirky B & B in New Bethesda, Karoo, back in 2022. Said fence post had been lying around in our workshop since then, until last week 😁.
They're on show at JJ's Bones of the Earth , Bosveld Village , Hoedspruit should anyone be interested in taking a closer gander.

A slightly larger piece of bespoke art, installed a few weeks back. The counter top and floating shelves are Leadwood, and the rest is made with Silver Cluster-leaf. At 2,8m long, 58cm deep and 7cm thick, it took five of us to carry and jiggle the counter top into place. Leadwood living up to its name 😜
