WHEN THE COMMUNITY CALLS, WE ANSWER❗️
At approximately 12:15 today, Sunday, 10 May 2026, Midlands Septic Services received numerous calls from Stockowners to assist with a massive fire at a sawmill🪵 that was rapidly spreading and threatening surrounding infrastructure.🔥
With strong winds💨, dry conditions, and the fire moving aggressively, the situation had the potential to become absolutely devastating had it not been brought under control quickly. Buildings, infrastructure, nearby properties, and surrounding areas were all at serious risk.
The situation became even more difficult due to an Eskom power outage, which resulted in no water supply at the premises. Despite this, our team made continuous trips into town to refill from fire hydrants, ensuring that water could keep flowing to assist in fighting the blaze. 💧
Midlands Septic Services proudly stood alongside the fire department🚒🧑🚒 and members of the community, working together for hours to help contain the fire and prevent what could have been catastrophic damage.
We are incredibly proud to serve a community where people step up for one another in times of crisis. Today was another reminder that our role goes far beyond septic and drainage services. When the community needs help, we will always do everything we can to assist.❤️
