Nestled at the foot of the Touwsberg Mountains in the Klein Karoo, Plot 46 is designed as a secluded retreat that responds directly to its remarkable landscape and climate. The architecture embraces passive design principles, thermal mass, natural ventilation, and carefully calculated solar orientation to create year-round comfort despite harsh summers and limited winter sun. Inspired by the surrounding mountain forms, the home integrates seamlessly with the terrain, offering a contemporary Karoo escape that celebrates nature, sustainability, and timeless design.
