Welcome Monday!! Tip for the week.... If the water is off in your area, switch your geyser off. Should your geyser not be turned off the risk of geyser draining back and burning out Element becomes greater.

Tip for the weekend*** Now that it is alot warmer please make sure that the Thermostat on your geyser is set at max 55' to keep electricity accounts down. :)

We have replaced many burst geysers this year already! Please follow up with your Insurance Company if a burst Geyser is covered. If you are in a Complex, The Body Corporate Insurance should cover a burst geyser but just query this to make sure. You don't want to spend these cold winter days without hot water!

Tip for the week: Your pressure valve should drip approx 1% of your geyser capacity in a day. It should drip only during it's heating cycles so therefor if you ran a tap for several minutes the electrics to the geyser would kick in and start heating - the hot water in the geyser expands, this expanded water is forced into the overflow pipe and allowed to drain away from the geyser. If your pressure valve is running constantly its time to have it checked.
