Today, he’s still going strong, and we’re proud to have this champion as part of the Farquharson family. 🏆​

From steel to still water.​

So, we’re on the second floor already, and busy with the pool.​

As you can see, the planned pool at The Maranello is currently just steel and formwork, holding a shape that isn’t finished yet.​

But already, everything is in place for what it will become. A still surface, set against Table Mountain.​

From a chalk mark to a nine-storey building.​

Every slab begins with a set out: columns, walls, and services marked by hand, checked against the drawings before any concrete is poured.​

Once cast, it disappears.​

At 77 Jan Smuts Street in Cape Town's Foreshore, The Maranello is taking shape: a nine-storey mixed-use residential building defined by 151 apartments above a retail and shared ground plane.​
