The electrical side of a swimming pool gets checked least and matters most.
The pump, filter and cleaner get all the attention, but the timer box, isolator switch, wiring and earth leakage protection are what keep the whole system safe and running. Summer raises the load: longer pump run times, a heat pump or chlorinator working harder, and the season's first thunderstorms arriving with the kind of power events that hit electrical gear hardest.
Worth having checked before December: timer settings that no longer suit the season, an isolator that has grown stiff or hot, connections showing heat marks or corrosion, earth leakage protection that hasn't been tested in years, and any pump that has tripped the board once and been quietly forgiven. A pump that trips once is asking. A pump that trips twice is telling.
Pool Pond Spa's Swimming Pool Experts inspect the electrical side of the plant area on site, and anything beyond a timer or switch change is referred to a qualified electrician, because water and wiring deserve that line to be kept.
Photos may start the enquiry but some jobs need on-site assessment. You need not be home if the pool side is accessible. Bookings are typically made within 1 to 2 working days, subject to scheduling. The R450 call-out fee is deducted from the final invoice if a quotation is accepted. Service enquiries: 062 105 2168. On-site services run Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00.
