Strategically located within the Sesheng residential area, the facility provides a full-size, high-quality artificial turf pitch that ensures accessibility, durability, and year-round playability. The use of artificial turf is particularly well-suited to the arid regional conditions, reducing water dependency while supporting consistent usage and lower long-term maintenance requirements.

The completed field is fully lined and equipped, creating an immediately functional space for football development, community engagement, and organised sporting activities. We are proud to reflect on the completion of the Mapoteng Combi Courts project in Kathu, Northern Cape — a vibrant recreational space designed to bring the community together through sport.

The facility includes a Mini Soccer Field and a Netball/Basketball combination court, providing a versatile sporting environment where youth and community members can participate in multiple activities within a single, well-designed space.

Projects like this go far beyond physical infrastructure. They create safe, accessible places where young people can play, develop their skills, and build healthy lifestyles. Sporting facilities within communities contribute to social cohesion, youth development, and opportunities for positive engagement.

Our Quantity Surveying team played a key role in supporting the delivery of this project through effective cost management, procurement oversight, and contract administration, ensuring the project was delivered efficiently while maintaining quality and value.

We are proud to reflect on the successful completion of the Mapoteng Internal Roads project in Kathu, Northern Cape.
