We recently got a call from one of the complexes in the East rand which had issues with their undercover parking lights. Upon inspection we realised that the day night switch was struck by lightning and as a result also struck some of the undercover lights. We managed to replace the day night switch and the damaged lights. Customer very pleased with our speedy and good service. For all your electrical enquiries- Please do not hesitate to contact us.

With all the loadshedding, a customer requested for a battery back up system.

As always, we jump on the enquiry and assisted our customer.

5kw inverter with a 5kw battery as a start up system. We will be able to add some extra batteries together with solar panels in the near future.

Customer phoned and wanted someone to assist them with their electrical work as they were shocking when switching on and off the lights.

We done our fault finding and went through everything, we started at the kiosk outside the premises and worked our way back. As you can see on the first photos,the customer has a 3 Phase supply but the conductors are cut off and ripped out in order to have a single phase supply (Not the right way to do it)

Our main focus was the specific unit on the premises, we managed to sort out the electrical shock when switching the power on and off, we added an isolater and earth leakage protection as there were nothing. We added a geyser isolater and a stove isolator.

We can nou say that the unit are protected and all the necessary protection is in place.

Loyal customer buying batteries from DFR Electrical. We had the opportunity to supply the customer with the following:
1 x 646 battery (60ah - 12V)
1 x 658 battery (100ah - 12v). These batteries are specially used in the earthmoving field.

These batteries are manufactured in Germany and carry a 2 year warrenty.

Customer phoned DFR Electrical Services for some minor electrical maintenance.

We took out all the unnecessary cables out of the DB and out of the roof. We rewired the DB. The most difficult part was to rewire the DB as the previous electrician didn't leave enough room for the wires to be rerouted and make the DB neat. Work was carried out and the DB look much better and more neat.

Downlight transformers was also removed and changed to 240v instead of 12v.
