This installation featured next was one that was super special. We got to honour a close friend who continues to live in cherished memories.
The garden was a total makeover with varied treatments from stylish pots and an atrium upliftment to a scenic view of succulents and a sea of gravel. Ill add some befores in the photos so you can see the massive difference.

You know when you know a project is looming and you cannot wait to get stuck and make it beautiful! This was that job. Seeing the paving area of the gorgeous little cottage with the “before” paving situation was like an itch that needed scratching.
Well, that itch got scratched and now look…... The new hexagon pavers in charcoal colour with a neat charcoal border looks so so smart. The cottage can now boast of its new skirt wrapping around it like a little girl twirling in delight. We uncovered an old short rock wall and exposed it showing off what it has to offer. The simple planting really helps keep the garden easy to maintain. More up close pics to follow.

A few months ago we embarked on a project out of the regular type of work and boy did I learn a lot. We worked together with electricians and lightcompanies to put it all together. More photos will be posted of the entire project but when I tell you we installed driveway lights , it was not a simple process. From finding the perfect lamp /glass and bulb down to the base to be built , the levels needed and the trenches all dug and then post project rehabilitation was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Here are just a few pics of the actual lamps and part of the driveway illuminated on an overcast morning.

I had the absolute pleasure of taking my garden club for a little day trip to the midlands to see blueberry cafe based in netherwood farm and then a gorgeous meander through the spectacular gardens of Brahmin hills. It was the most delicious food for soul and oodles of inspiration. I discovered that I don’t like filling maps and preferred to walk and rather discover the various sights and features that the garden hosted. The weather was on top form! Thank you ladies for making a great day the best day!
