This is one enormous piece pf Kiaat!
Kiaat is a rich coloured hardwood that is incredible to use for manufacturing furniture. It moves very little making for better longevity of your pieces. Wood swells in the heat and shrinks in the cold- you may not notice it but all wood is constantly moving. Some woods like black wood move quiet a lot, and others like kiaat are more stable. All these things come into play when you manufacture your furniture.
