A customer in Howick wanted the old ceilings out and a new ceiling look inside the rooms with better insulation properties. We installed 30mm Summit board with a T&G finish with 100mm Jumbo insulation rolled out on top of the Summit board. A Colonial decorative cornice finishes the ceiling against the walls. We then painted the ceilings with white pva.

No job is too small. Customer needed to create a small passage at the end of a fire escape to divide a storage room and back exit for a tenant.

Our customer needed a noise solution. The flatlet below the main bedroom area is separated by a timber mezzanine floor. TV noise and people talking could be heard upstairs and downstairs. We stapled 100mm Jumbo Insulation to the timber floor, in between timber beams, and then screwed 12mm Jumbo boards onto the timber beams creating a new ceiling. Joints were skimmed and a 30mm quadrant fitted where boards butt against walls. Our customer did a test by placing a radio downstairs with music playing, simulating normal conversation or Tv watching, and it is dead quiet upstairs now. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! Our customer will be painting his own ceilings.

We fitted skim plastered ceilings with bulkheads on the ground floor level of this beautiful home. Decorative cornices to completed the classic look and then we painted the ceilings with a plaster primer and 2 coats matt white pva.

Our customer upgraded his audio system and needed to get rid of unwanted reflections. We added 14 x 1200 x 600 Heradesign accoustic ceiling tiles to an existing ceiling to absorb these unwanted reflections and it improved our customer's music listening experience.
