PLANNED WATER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION FROM DAP NAUDE AND EBENEZER

Polokwane Municipality notifies all affected water users about a planned water supply interruption from Dap Naude Dam on Tuesday, 14th July 2020 from 06h00 to 18h00 to conduct inspection on the Dap Naude pipeline.

Affected areas of supply include City, Bendor, Sterpark, Flora Park and Fauna Park. High lying parts of Nirvana can also experience low pressure in water supply.

In addition, the Greater Tzaneen Municipality has issued a notice on a planned power supply switch off to work on a refurbishment of Ebenezer 33 kilovolts (kV) line. This will affect water supply to Polokwane from the Ebenezer Plant from 07h00 to 17h00 on the following dates:
• Tuesday, 14th July 2020;
• Thursday, 16th July 2020;
• Sunday, 19th July 2020; and
• Saturday, 25th July 2020

Areas receiving supply are urged to use water sparingly.

Regular updates about both activities will be provided on the municipal communication platforms and through traditional media channels.

Polokwane Municipality apologises for the inconvenience that may arise due to this.
