Hey… please take a moment to read this 🤍
At just 13 months old, little J-Den Barnhoorn got meningitis. In such a short time, his world went completely silent. He couldn’t hear his mom’s voice, laughter, or the sounds that help a child grow and feel safe.
Cochlear implants later gave him something back that he lost far too early — the ability to hear, to learn to speak, to feel included. Those implants became his lifeline.
But now… they’re failing. They’re simply too old, and J-Den urgently needs two new cochlear implants. Without them, he could lose sound again — and with that, his speech, schooling, confidence, and future.
His family has done everything they possibly can. The cost is just too much to carry alone.
