Week 6 :

All painting, vinyl, skirtings, doors, and cupboards all perfectly completed
A beautiful bedroom extension for a lovely family – such a pleasure doing this project

Jeremy Delport Construction was once again proud to support the Masifunde non-profit organization on Mandela Day, for a very worthy cause by working in the Walmer location area, regarding the Unathi Day Care Centre
JDC gladly assisted by painting areas of the building to create an improved and beautified space for this creche, amid great excitement by all !!!

Project : Water Road Alterations & Additions

Week 4 :

Plaster adequately dried after checking with moisture test
Primer coats and prep complete to all walls and ceis
Internally ceilings finalised and walls received first colour coat
Roof tiles were pressure cleaned and painted

Next up is vinyl flooring and built-in-cupboards

Project : Water Road Alterations & Additions

Week 3 :
It’s been a while !!!!! had to wait 4 weeks for clear sky and minimal wind in order to open up existing roof and to close roof which required 3 days of good weather to ensure no damage to existing house
In single week we now managed to complete roof and eaves, fit window, complete all plaster internally and externally, plus fit skimmed ceiling and decorative cornices

INSURANCE WORK UNDERTAKEN BY JDC
JDC undertakes major insurance work

Day 1 – responded to call and met client for brief on site
Day 2 – provided quote and client accepted
Day 3 – met insurance assessor with client on site
Day 4 – established site, commenced clearing site, and receiving deliveries
Day 5-7 – brickwork completed
Day 8 – site cleared of all excess and cleaned

Project : Water Road Alterations and Additions

Week 2 :

Floor fill mechanically compacted and rammed in layers to ensure sound base before pouring floor slab
Floor poured above damp proof layer for damp measures, mesh fitted for added strength, and power floated for level surface
Brickwork completed to roof wall plate height

Project : Water Road, Walmer Alterations and Additions

Week 1 :
JDC has demolished the existing concrete reinforced roof slab, demolished walls, removed house external plaster, and carted rubble off site
JDC then excavated foundations, poured foundations, build plinth brickwork, and concrete filled the cavity for added strength

Next week will already see the floor poured and superstructure brickwork completed !!!!

Project : Sunridge Park Painting

Completed detailed prep and re-paint to outbuilding , garage and boundary wall
We firstly ensured that new expansions, concrete bases, plaster, and damp measures were in place to ensure longevity to the investment – experience and prep is key !
We then received professional input courtesy of Plascon, via City Paint and Tool, to advise upon the very best recommended paint specification to ensure the best solution
Start and completion on site approximately only 10 days excluding curing time after initial prep !!!
