Minimum project size: 100 kW

For projects above 1 MW, pricing is negotiable based on project scope, site conditions and volume.

• Geotechnical (Geotech) report
• Site assessment
• Review of pile and foundation requirements
• Soil conditions and expected driving depths

Finding myself in Limpopo again, and every time I’m here I’m amazed by the sheer scale of agriculture.

Limpopo is South Africa’s fifth-largest province at roughly 125,000 km². If you had to drive from the western border near Lephalale all the way to the eastern border near the Kruger National Park, you’re looking at roughly 600–700 km. From north to south, it’s around 450–500 km depending on your route.

What makes it even more impressive is what happens on this land. Limpopo is often called the “fruit basket of South Africa” and produces:

• ±75% of South Africa’s mangoes
• ±60% of the country’s avocados
• ±60% of its tomatoes
• ±25% of its citrus, bananas and litchis
• ±65% of its papayas

Limpopo also has the highest percentage of households involved in agriculture of any province in South Africa, with nearly 29% of households participating in agricultural activities.

Seeing old clients and meeting new ones, I am reminded again what an honour and privilege it is to be part of the solar revolution in this province. Agriculture and energy go hand in hand, and it is exciting to see how farmers, packhouses, estates and businesses are embracing energy independence.

For me, Limpopo is one of the most beautiful places in South Africa, and potentially one of the most beautiful agricultural regions in Africa.
