TMR CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE - Client Review 😃
We had an unfortunate incident towards the end of April 2024 where we experienced an intrusion
and break in. The criminals were well prepared and executed their plan professionally and daringly.
As a result of this incident much damage was done to our property. Our Insurance company was
contacted and they sent a multitude of service providers out to assess the damage. As can be
expected, a few opportunists attempted to secure the job by cutting corners and trying to “make a
plan” at our expense!
Naturally we were extremely unhappy at what we witnessed and lodged official complaints with our
insurance. A senior assessor from the insurance then stepped in to assist us and informed us that TMR
was scheduled to come out and have a look.
Christo from TMR arrived on site and ensured that a thorough inspection was done. It was evident
from the onset that he was not a chance taker nor was he ignorant to the fact that the family had
been visibly traumatised from the incident. Every detail was taken into account when considering the
proposed repairs.
Within a short period of time the insurance approved the repairs and Christo and his team arrived on
site fully prepared. Repairs began immediately without any delay and without any issue. Each team
member, whether it be the foreman, builder, carpenter, painter, general assistant had their specific
duties and even assisted each other in order to complete the job faster. The team was neatly dressed
and presented, friendly and well educated on their respective duties and always engaged with the us
if there was any doubt. There was absolutely no need to supervise the team even when Christo had
to step out for supplies. The job was completed timeously and it must be stressed that both Christo
and his TMR team went out of their way to ensure that we were satisfied with the end result.
As a comparison, it must be noted that we have had many a contractor on site for various maintenance
and repair work over a period of 10 years. In some instances, the end result of these contractors left
us in a situation that was worse than what we started with. In short, TMR has through its professional
services and business etiquette AND especially its staff (who we know on a first name basis), have
proven to us that they stand head and shoulders above the rest.
After having experienced such a level of professionalism, we further engaged with TMR for additional
private work at our premises. This in order to repair previous poor workmanship from older
contractors. The result of this further engagement was extremely satisfying and our repairs were
conducted without any issues. Need I say more?
We would like to thank Christo and his team from TMR Construction and Maintenance for their quality
of work and professionalism and further look forward to a long and prosperous working relationship.
