Please note that these socket outlets are no longer in compliance with SANS 10142 on the new installation. I encourage everyone to review the applicable standards to gain a clear understanding of the requirements.
Let's ensure we remain aligned and uphold compliance across our work.

A lot of people are ignoring this requirement and it's no longer new. We have adjusted our specifications to ensure that all new socket outlets have at least one SANS 164-2 plug by enforcing combined type sockets (SANS 164-1 and 164-2). This is to accommodate clients with appliances like fridges and microwaves in their offices.

A combined type must be used
