The Otter Bridge project completion is coming to fruition, linking Canal Walk Shopping Centre directly to the residential area across the Century City canal. The massive steel structure was delivered in one piece and hoisted into position.
We are on track for a June 2026 completion.

The Glen – Solar Project

Hyrop Investments is continuing its commitment to go green at The Glen shopping centre with the addition of a rooftop parking structure and Solar system that will allow for over 5000 solar panels to be placed for a combined generation power of 3.205Mwp. Not only will the Solar provide substantial green energy to the centre, but it will also boost the shopping experience by adding 18 000 m2 of undercover parking. Patrons and tenants alike can look forward to The Glen going greener this May 2026.

Somerset Mall

As part of the Phase 2A expansion to Somerset Mall, a new food court will be added bringing new and existing dining options, with a new Freedom Interactive anchoring the entertainment offering. In addition to the selection of restaurants the new Market Court will be offering a selection of curated and artisanal producers, ranging from foods to drinks.

Paarl Mall Phase 2

Retail expansion and mall refurbishment. The retail expansion includes the construction of a new fashion court and entrance leading to the fashion court. Expansion also to existing tenant spaces. The food court area will also receive a new refurbished entrance as well as a totally new refurbished internal area. Additional parking and improved access forms part of the external upgrade works. Internally all the bathrooms, bulkheads, lighting and ceilings will be redone as part of the greater refurbishment.
