An open vacancy for a Qualified Plumber or newly (junior) qualified plumber to gain expertise and knowledge in the field is available
Oxyros Plumbing & Maintenance Solutions is a small plumbing company, situated in Waterkloof Glen.
The Position is in Pretoria South Africa
The position is for a plumber, but not limited to plumbing, and you will also be required to do or work in the following environments:

Plumbing maintenance
General maintenance
Knowledge about South African plumbing regulations
SANS 10254
SANS 10106
SANS 1307
SANS 10142-1( electrical)
Electric Fence
SANS 10222-3
LPG installation and knowledge
SANS 10087-1
Geyser warranties (All aspects and types)
Water tank storage and installation
Resultant damages due to burst geysers and water. This includes:
Ceilings removal and installation
Painting
Building and plastering
Tilling
All plumbing related issues
Small electrical repair and maintenance
Blocked drains
Bathroom renovations
Solar geyser installation (direct and indirect)
Solar geyser maintenance
Heat pump installation.
Heat pump service and maintenance.
Waterproofing
Fault finding and troubleshooting
The candidate will be required to:
Working hours. 7h30 to 17h00. You will be required to report 15 minutes prior to start.
Every second weekend Standby
You will be required to liaise with clients.
Fill in job cards and invoice where necessary.
You will be required to have a legal and valid driver’s licence. (non negotiable)
If qualified and certified, you will have to write Certificates of compliance on geysers, solar Geyser, Heat pump and all plumbing.
Computer literate in MS Word and Excell will be an advantage.
The applicant should be :
Able to work in a team and alone.
Must be able to take responsibility and decisions in difficult or unclear situation where and when telephonic backup is not possible.
Well groomed
Be able to read and write.
Well-spoken in, English (Afrikaans and African languages will be an advantageous)
Good telephone manners.
Good medical.
No medical condition like epilepsy or history of drug abuse and alcohol abuse.
Must have clean criminal record. (A police clearance certificate may be required)
