*Wapadrand Sub Switchover*

As communicated before Christmas when the Wapadrand Switchover to the new sub was postponed - it is scheduled for early this year.

An official notice is not yet out, but below reminded as per the dates and times communicated last year.
- Stage 1: 6-9 January 2026, 4 cables/day moved from Transformer B
- Stage 2: 27-30 January 2026, 4 cables/day moved from Transformer R

As soon as we have the exact details of which suburbs will be affected when we will share and how the power outages will be strucuted (IE will everyone be off the entire time, will ir be staggered and residents will only be affected when they are working on their cables).

This Switchover is needed and as DA councillors we will do our best to guide residents through this as seamless as possible.
