FAKING EXPERIENCE ?
📢 Let's talk about something 99% of people won’t say out loud:
FAKING EXPERIENCE ON YOUR CV.
Yes, I said it.
Half the people you see with “5 years Customer Service experience” started lying in 2022 when ChatGPT told them to.
“Senior Sales Team Leader” but can’t explain how to grow sales without Googling? We’ve all seen it.
“Led a team of 8” → the team was 2 interns and a cousin.
Here’s the truth nobody admits:
Almost everyone exaggerates.
2 years → rounded to 3
“Contributed” → suddenly “Built from scratch”
Used a tool twice → “Proficient in Microsoft, Docs, AWS, Blockchain, Web3, AI”
Recruiters know you’re lying… and they mostly don’t care (as long as you can survive the interview).
The real risk isn’t getting caught on paper.
It’s bombing the interview and getting blacklisted forever.
My take?
Stretch the truth → Fine.
Full-on fabricate → Dangerous karma.
If you say you “solved 90% customer queries at previous company” but can’t even deal with an angry customer on the phone… Sister, you’re not fooling anyone.
Be smart:
Say “exposed to” instead of “expert”
Say “part of the team that built” instead of “I built”
Learn just enough to fake the rest in the interview (yes, this is the game)
share your experiences in "EXAGGERATING" experience.
