𝐍𝐨 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐩𝐚𝐲-𝐨𝐮𝐭: Wanderers players told, Wa Ganyu 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐓𝐨 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐦 👍

◉ Over the past two weeks, Mighty Wanderers players have been in discussions with management regarding the TNM Super League prize money, in line with club policy.

◉ Several meetings later, the Nomads board has now decided. Players will not receive a separate share of the prize money and have been told, “bwana adakukonzani kale.”

◉ As previously reported on 27 December 2025, Wa Ganyu confirmed that Wanderers chairperson Dr Thomson Mpinganjira rewarded the players and technical staff with a total of K45 million following their TNM Super League triumph.

◉ Each player received K1 million, while coach Bob Mpinganjira received K1.5 million and his assistants K1.25 million each.

◉ The payments were made six days after Wanderers thrashed Moyale Barracks 6–0 and were confirmed league champions after their cousins, Bullets, drew with Mighty Tigers.

◉ At the time, players and members of the technical panel thought it was just a Christmas bonus, with the chairperson celebrating the title win. They were unaware that the payment was part of their reward for winning the league and its K100 million prize.

◉ The players had expected the club to distribute the prize money separately. However, following communication from board members, that will not be the case.
