WHY USE A DOUBLE BUCKET SYSTEM for your DAILY Cleaning/Maintenance?
With a two-bucket system, most of the dirt picked up by the mop ends up in the dirty/waste bucket, rather than in the cleaning solution. The use of a double bucket system promotes efficient cleaning and disinfection. The separate waste bucket ensures that the “clean” disinfectant solution remains active and is not contaminated or neutralized by all the dirt, bedding, hair, and everything else removed from floors. Instead of being redeposited on surfaces, the contaminants are physically removed from the floor and left in the waste bucket.
It’s important to note that whatever bucket you use, it must be the appropriate bucket for your mop. And while you’re at it, are you using the right mop? There are all kinds of mops: string mops, flat mops, big mops, little mops, and a whole lot in between. In most cases, budget can be as much a factor in making mop and hardware choices as are needs. Many times, there must be compromises, and that’s understandable. This is more about improvement, not perfection.
