Flat Roof Repairs – Waterfall, Midrand
This flat roof had ongoing water pooling issues due to an inadequate drainage system and the absence of a proper torch-on waterproofing membrane.
Upon inspection, we found that most of the water was collecting on one side of the roof, placing unnecessary strain on the waterproofing and increasing the risk of leaks.
✅ Installed additional outlet pipes to improve drainage
✅ Re-screeded the roof to create the correct falls towards the outlets
✅ Applied a new torch-on waterproofing system
✅ Finished with two coats of Solar Aluminium protective coating
The result is a properly waterproofed flat roof with improved water flow and long-term protection against leaks and standing water.
If your flat roof has ponding water, peeling waterproofing, or recurring leaks, the problem often needs to be addressed mechanically rather than simply applying another coat of waterproofing.
