Following our recognition as Solar EPC of the Year, the publication highlights the achievements, innovation, and impact of this year's award recipients across South Africa's solar PV industry.

Our feature on pages 19-20 showcases the award-winning Hartenbos Waste Water Treatment Works Solar PV Plant and Microgrid, a project delivered in partnership with Element Consulting Engineers and Mossel Bay Municipality. This pioneering installation demonstrates how renewable energy can strengthen critical infrastructure while advancing sustainability and energy resilience.

Continuous learning is a key part of engineering excellence. Our engineering team recently visited the CSIR photovoltaic testing laboratory to gain a deeper understanding of how solar PV modules are tested for durability, safety, and long-term performance. Seeing these processes firsthand provided valuable insights into the standards and testing protocols that help ensure the quality and reliability of solar technology deployed worldwide.

We're proud to invest in opportunities that expand our team's knowledge and strengthen our ability to deliver trusted renewable energy solutions to our clients. A big thank you to the CSIR team for hosting us and sharing their expertise.

Today, our Solareff Cape Town team joined thousands of participants at the Blisters for Bread 2026 Charity Family Fun Walk, taking place along Cape Town's Atlantic Seaboard. The event helps raise funds for vital school nutrition programmes that support more than 30,000 vulnerable learners across the Western Cape.

We are proud of our team for lacing up their walking shoes and representing the Solareff spirit of purpose, teamwork and community.
