🦁🔧 BESTARK – ANOTHER JOB DONE! 🔧🦁
💩 ONE PIECE OF CLOTH. ONE DAMAGED SEWAGE PUMP! 😳
Sometimes, the smallest things can cause thousands of rands in damage!
We recently attended to a sewage pump failure where the system had stopped operating.
🔎 WHAT DID WE FIND?
During our inspection, we discovered that a piece of cloth had become tangled inside the pump's impeller, preventing it from rotating freely.
With the impeller obstructed, the motor may have overheated, contributing to the pump's failure.
🔧 WHAT DID BESTARK DO?
✅ Removed the damaged sewage pump.
✅ Inspected the existing installation and connections.
✅ Installed a brand-new sewage pump.
✅ Reconnected the existing pipework.
✅ Restored the sewage pumping system to working condition.
💡 A LITTLE ADVICE FROM BESTARK:
Cloth, rags, wipes and other fibrous materials should never enter your sewage system. They can become tangled around pump impellers, causing blockages, overheating and expensive repairs.
⚠️ Remember: Just because something can be flushed doesn't mean it should be!
