The power stability Rabithole
Your electricity price has risen by +- 13.29% from the 1st of April, unfortunately this is not a true representation of what you will be paying for a stable electricity supply, as in the last 2 years you have paid price hikes represent a 33.8% electricity price increase over two years, and neither Eskom's financial nor generation capacity improved.
The scary part is your commercial buildings are paying more per kw/h in relation with residential customers, this is bad for the residential market as these clients will be the first to move to solar (and still to this day have solar incentives), meaning Eskom will get less per kw/h and will be forced to have more power increases in the future!
If you want to take back the power of your earned income, going solar is the only way to Reduce your reliance on State owned enterprises and the power of your Power!
Dawie Roodt :
“I can promise you, we’re going to see more electricity price increases as long as Eskom is managed in the way it is managed and as long as Eskom has this huge outstanding debt and as long as Eskom keeps on making losses — and they will keep on making losses.”
