Aloe Fellow Wholesale Growing Nursery

It is that time of year when the Dragon Fruit plant flowers. The large dragon fruit flowers bloom only for one night usually starting in the early evening and are done by the morning. With the buds flowering at different stages its fascinating watching these amazing plants bud and flower.

This particular plant we have in a large pot by our front verandah. We have had buds and flowers every year around December/January. It has produced fruit once.

Directions to Aloe Fellow : Heading north on the N2 from Ballito, take the 2nd exit - exit 214 Salt Rock/Umhlali. At the stop street turn right towards the sea. Travel approximately 200 meters and turn right at Foxhill/Sasol Garage. Go straight and you will pass Sage on your left hand side. Just after Sage, the road changes from tar to concrete. Go for 50 metres, the concrete road veers sharp left BUT go STRAIGHT onto the tar road straight in front of you. Continue straight and you will take the first left. You will see a sign that says “Aloe Fellow”. Travel along the grass driveway. You will see a small dam on your left with our gate to the house in front of you. Before the gate travel on the grass on the left and you will arrive at the farm.

Aloe Fellow is a wholesale growing nursery producing plants for the nursery and landscaping market. We are situated in Foxhill, Salt Rock. We stock a wide variety of aloes, cycads, ground covers, succulents, grasses and indigenous trees and shrubs.

We are NOT open to the public. We supply landscapers, contractors and nurseries. If you would like us to refer you to a landscaper we have a few landscaping companies on our books and will gladly assist you with contact details.

My Cycads are ready for sale and come with an original possession permit.

Atter completing the necessary paperwork and having my cycads inspected to verify that all my plants were propagated from seed and not dug out from the wild I was finally issued my permit book from the Ezemvelu KZN Wildlife permits office.

For those that don't know Nurseries are allowed to open under level 4 now. All the necessary permits, staff permits, masks, social distancing etc. apply.

My Cycads are ready for sale and come with an original possession permit.

When you purchase a cycad you will be given the original possession permit which contains a permit number and which is stamped by the Ezemvelu KZN Wildlife permits office. Keep this permit as proof of your purchase.

Most of the cycads are about 10 years old and are presently in 40 litre bags. They are in pristine condition standing about 1.3 metres high in their bags.

We are pleased to announce that nurseries will be able to operate from tomorrow (5 May 2020) onwards - Provided we abide by Level 4 Lockdown Regulations.

No customers will be allowed to be on the premises without a mask on. These rules are implemented for you and our staffs safety.

Our operating hours are as follows:
Monday to Friday - 08H30 - 16H00
Saturday and Sunday - closed
