An 8kW backup system is powerful — but it still has limits. Be realistic about what you want to run during outages. An energy audit will quickly show exactly what your home or office needs to run everything you want, all at the same time.

What it may run (depending on what else is on): A microwave, one moderate aircon, or one heavier appliance at a time.
What should stay off backup (or be used only in emergencies): Kettles, toasters, irons, hair dryers, ovens, tumble dryers, washing machines & dishwashers — these high draw appliances drain batteries fast and can overload the inverter if used together.
Practical rule: Light loads = no problem. One big appliance at a time = usually fine. Multiple heat producing appliances = not realistic on backup.
