WATER NOTICE: STRUISBAAI & L’AGULHAS

The Municipality is currently attending to a pipe break on the pipeline connecting the 1 ML reservoir in L’Agulhas to the Struisbaai reservoirs.

At present, water supply to consumers remains unaffected. However, the break is causing the water levels in the Struisbaai reservoirs to decrease.

Our maintenance team is on site and is working to commence repairs. The duration of the repair is currently unknown, as the pipeline needs to drain before repair work can begin.

Residents are requested to use water sparingly while the Municipality works to resolve the issue.

Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.

A water pipe has burst in Main Road, in the vicinity of the Municipal Office, affecting the water supply to surrounding residents.
Our water team is on site and attending to the repairs.
