After 30 years of working in all facets of the woodworking industry the desire to own and run my own business got realized in PIONIER MEUBELS | FURNITURE, established in 1993." At Du Preez
The name Pionier is derived from the "Pionier Stoel" (directly translated it is "Pioneer Chair"), a chair that can be seen in our Drostdy Museum right here in Swellendam. This was also the drive behind us to be the pioneers in our field. Providing a personal service to all our clients from the conceptual stage of what you would like your cupboards to look like, till the last speck of dust is wiped off the counter in your newly installed kitchen. In the beginning we only manufactured chairs, an estimated 35 000 plus over the last 24 years. Now, due to demand, we custom-make tables, cupboards, custom made couches and upholstered chairs, beds and many more high quality pieces of furniture that will turn your house into a home to enjoy. So if you need that special something that can only be made in our unique style, and to your specifications, please feel free to contact us. Here at the foot of the Langeberg Mountain range we do it the only way we know how, and that is the right way. We are a family run business at Pionier Meubels / Furniture and proud of our products.
