Hough Electric Hough Electric is an a electrical company founded by Mr Robert Dave Hough in 1980. Hough Electric was established in 1980 by Robert Hough.

With only a hand full of staff members he was determined to see the business flourish. Having completed a 5 year apprentership at Cape Town City Council, Robert then moved on to Voelvlei where he became the Electrical Maintanance Officer for the Water treatement centre. He then was offered a post to work at Tulbagh Municipality and it was from there that he founded Hough Electric and used his expe

rtise to create this success. later, his son Leon Hough then joined the company in 1997 and hand in hand they worked to see this business blossom even further. With now 7 staff members Hough Electric is still going strong in 2015.
