🔊 SOUND ON!🔥

We are excited to share the first visual glimpse into our latest project in the Western Cape. We are handling the design, supply, and installation of a 1612sqm Firetesting warehouse in the Saxenburg area.

Did you know that there are currently very few dedicated fire-testing facilities of this scale in South Africa? This project is set to be a great addition to the local industry and will be our second firetesting warehouse we've built to date.

We are proud to be utilizing welded and tapered beams to bring this structure to life.

We are proud to be partnering with Inospace to breathe new life into two of their Cape Town facilities in Paarden Eiland and Ndabeni. 🌄

Have a look at these before-and-after shots of the large-scale structural refurbishment at the Marine Works storage facility. 📷️

✔️ During the asbestos removal and re-sheeting phase, we safely replaced 4,500m² of old roofing and installed Youngman Roofing and Insulation Roofing’s Springlok profile (AZ200 Thunderstorm) with a 50mm white-faced insulation blanket for a clean, professional finish.

✔️For the next stage, we will design and install of 2,900m² of mezzanine flooring—utilizing 41 tons of structural and 26 tons of secondary steel.

✔️Thereafter, we will clad 420+ units using durable Widedek Zincalume.

We’re taking Cape Town’s storage space to the next level! 🏗️📍

We are thrilled to announce that JTC Building Systems has partnered with Inospace refurbish two premier facilities: Marine Works (Paarden Eiland) and Powder Mill (Ndabeni).

At Marine Works, we’ve already completed 4,500m² of asbestos removal and re-sheeting using Youngman Roofing Springlok (AZ200 Thunderstorm). We are now moving into the design and installation of 2,900m² of mezzanine flooring—requiring 67 tons of steel—and cladding 420+ units with Widedek Zincalume.

At Powder Mill, we are in the design phase for 269 light steel frame storage units and 1,140m² of mezzanine floors to maximize vertical space.

It’s an honor to deliver high-spec structural engineering and precision finishing for such significant infrastructure upgrades. Stay tuned for progress updates!
