“I have enough shoes,” - said no one ever.

We crafted a monumental shoe display unit for a client with a passion for her shoe collection!

For the backing we used spalted natal mahogany and the case work is natal mahogany.

To accentuate the "on-display" effect, all tiers are strategically angled.

We executed the crown mouldings using hand tools, and the grain configuration of the carcass are carefully booked matched throughout.

This unit can be easily customized to accommodate any size, as long as it comfortably houses all your cherished shoes!

Introducing a uniquely crafted Media Console that encompasses a sapele carcass and spalted 'crotch' natal mahogany doors and side panels.

For finer detail, the subtle inlay on the top panel is Wenge species, which gives this piece its pristine appearance.

We believe this piece reveals subtle details that make a profound statement.

There’s a seamless harmony between the grain configuration and the simplicity of the design.

And the complimentary mixed timbers truly enhance its beauty.

For the doors, we purposefully integrated a slide-to-open function, setting them apart from conventional hinged doors.

An intriguing aspect of the door panels is the spalted figurement of the wood grain.
From its natural transformation, it has developed a captivating blackened appearance through its ageing process.

We find this organic material's remarkable evolution mesmerizing.

Crafted with love, we present a heart-shaped box designed for a beloved wife.

Using natal mahogany timber, we meticulously created a unique and sentimental piece as a cherished gift for an extraordinary lady.

Pushing the limits of our sculptural skills, we used bent lamination technique to create a lifelike bow on the lid, and we crafted the heart-shaped lid and box with precision.

We think it truly embodies the significance of this piece.

This is yet another compelling project we've undertaken!
Presenting the Snake Terrarium Cabinet, measuring an impressive 2 x 1.8m.

Yes…. It serves as a home for a Pet Python!

The carcass and door frames are crafted using 'figured' Red River Gum and the panels are consecutively cut 'crotch' Jacaranda, which showcases our precise planning and construction.

Having a closer inspection, you'll notice the seamless grain match throughout, a result of careful consideration for this build.

All the cabinet door panels are book matched, highlighting a consistent design and appearance.

The crown moulding has been carefully hand-crafted using traditional woodworking methods.

This space is truly enhanced by our beautifully handcrafted, organic end-grain coffee table.

The table top features a cross-section of Silky Oak timber, as its centerpiece.

The Silky Oak shows natural, meandering cracks which we secured by bowties, imparting its’ uniqueness.

The top rests elegantly on sturdy legs, meticulously crafted from Red River Gum, using hand joinery techniques.

Each end grain slab offers a distinct and charming touch to the overall ambience.

A general misconception about building furniture is that it’s quick…. Well to let you know, even after 10+ years in the industry, that No! It’s not.

We have an interesting story with this commission.

A client had a slab of exquisite Red River Gum. And the timber, we believe, was to be 120 years old!

It was a woodworker's dream to produce this 3m long dining table from such sought-after material.

And of course, awe-inspiring to create something with such prominent and organic characteristics, like the twisting shape of its live edge and the bark exposure creating the river effect down the centre.

If you take a closer look, it also boasts a formation of natural thorns which gives it a unique and complex design.

The bowties accents and the ‘through’ wedges for this kind of joinery method that make up the base, are from African Blackwood.

It’s a really nice touch that came out better than expected.
