South African plumbers have the habit of installing geysers inside the roof space. Not all roofs spaces are big enough - making access difficult for repairs and replacement. Also, when the geyser burst there could be water damage to the property. The best, if possible, is to install the geyser outside. This make it easy to access and you can see immediately if there are any faults with the geyser. Remeber this the next time your geyser burst.

When you are searching for the water supply pipes, you can not just dig like a crazy person and push the spade in as hard as possible. Many times thete are electrical cables right next to the water pipes.

Good day all!

Its almost time for the annual "builders holiday" and while many companies will close for a well earned break, some of us work through this time.

But I have good news. PlumberNearMe will NOT be closed for the entire time.

Installing a water supply to a fridge! But why on the roof you ask?

The celing space inside the kitchen was not accessible to connect a water feed to the fridge. So we had to go through the roof. Happens seldom, but we will make a plan when needed.
