I agree with James Clear in the book, Atomic Habits. It is not about achieving the goal.
It is about the cycle of endless refinement and continuous improvement.
It is not about winning the game. It is about continuing in playing the game.
If we want to achieve a goal, have a goal-less thinking.
I know it is so ironic.
Let's have an illustration.
Imagine you have a messy room and you set a goal to clean it. If you'd have the energy to tidy up, you'll have a clean room.
But if you maintain the same sloppy habits that led to a messy room, soon you'll be looking to a pile of clutter and hope for another moment of motivation again.
That is why we should focus on our systems (our habits) by solving the problems with them.
If we fix the inputs (or systems), the outputs will fix themselves.
Would love to know your desired outputs and the inputs you're doing to achieve them. 💛
