Understanding Foundations in Construction 🏗️

A strong building always starts with the right foundation. In construction, foundations are generally divided into two main types: Shallow Foundations and Deep Foundations.

🟧 Shallow Foundation
A shallow foundation transfers the building load to the ground near the surface. It is commonly used when the soil close to the surface is strong enough to safely support the structure.

• Structures on stable soil

• Pad footing

🟧 Deep Foundation
