# # # Position Summary
Zambezi Steel is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and results-driven Business Development & Technical Sales Executive to join our growing team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing customer relationships, promoting Zambezi Steel products and services, preparing quotations, following up on sales leads, and driving revenue growth across Zambia.
This role is ideally suited to an ambitious individual with strong commercial acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build long-term customer relationships within the construction, engineering, mining, agricultural, manufacturing, and infrastructure sectors.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development
* Identify and pursue new sales opportunities.
* Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective customers.
* Generate new business through direct sales visits, networking, referrals, and market research.
* Build long-term relationships with contractors, developers, architects, engineers, project managers, procurement personnel, and business owners.
* Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
Customer Relationship Management
* Maintain regular contact with existing clients.
* Conduct customer visits and site inspections.
* Provide technical advice and product recommendations.
* Resolve customer queries professionally and efficiently.
* Deliver exceptional customer service.
Sales Administration
* Prepare quotations and sales proposals.
* Follow up on quotations and sales enquiries.
* Maintain accurate CRM and customer records.
* Prepare weekly sales reports and forecasts.
* Assist with tender submissions where required.
Product Promotion
Promote the full Zambezi Steel product range including:

Minimum Qualifications
Education
Applicants must possess:
* Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration
* Bachelor's Degree in Marketing
* Bachelor's Degree in Commerce
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
* Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management
or another relevant University Degree.
**Diploma qualifications alone will not normally be considered.**
