This notice follows a significant and unexpected increase in diesel fuel prices, which have recently risen from approximately USD $1.51 – $1.77 per litre to levels exceeding USD $2.00 per litre in certain areas. As diesel fuel is a critical operational input for borehole drilling activities—including drill rig operation, support vehicles, compressors, and field logistics—this increase directly affects the cost structure of drilling operations.

At Hydrocon Engineering, we remain committed to maintaining high-quality drilling standards, professional hydrogeological surveying, and reliable water infrastructure development. However, sustained increases in fuel costs may necessitate a revision of current drilling rates in order to maintain operational sustainability and service quality.
