WHEN EXPERIENCE MEETS GEOPHYSICS, WATER BECOMES A TARGET — NOT A GUESS. 💧🎯

Another successful groundwater survey in Macheke📍 where our hydrogeophysical interpretation identified a promising water-bearing zone at just 60metres.

With the geology clearly interpreted, the client can drill with greater confidence, knowing the target before the rig starts drilling.

The First Fracture Is Hope for More Water📍💧

The first water-bearing fracture was intercepted at just 15 metres, giving us and the client client strong encouragement for a better groundwater yield ahead.

Our hydrogeophysical survey recommended a minimum drilling depth of 60 metres, targeting deeper fracture zones identified during the survey.

The drilling has started well — 15m and water already showing. Now we go deeper to unlock the full potential of the aquifer. 💧

THE GEOLOGY SPEAKS — THE EXPERT WATER SURVEYOR KNOWS HOW TO READ IT. 💧🎯

Another successful borehole water survey in Hwedza,Sadza📍.

Our survey identified a strong groundwater-bearing zone at approximately 20 metres — and no significant deeper target requiring extended drilling.

Based on the survey interpretation, we advised the client to drill to the standard 40-metre borehole depth and stop, rather than spending unnecessarily on deeper drilling.

Our geophysical results also indicated a loose/unstable near-surface formation, so we recommended double casing for the first 10 metres to improve borehole stability and protect the integrity of the hole.

Water at 20m. Targeted drilling to 40m. Double casing to 10m.

This is the value of proper hydrogeophysical surveying: knowing where the water is, understanding the formation, and drilling according to the geology — not guesswork.

WATER FOUND IN A KNOWN DRY-HOLE AREA — MARONDERA,Winston Park! 💧🎯

The client was prepared for any outcome because this area is well known for dry boreholes and challenging groundwater conditions.

After conducting a detailed hydrogeophysical survey, we identified potential water-bearing fractures at approximately 70m, 110m and 120m.

This is why groundwater exploration should never be based on guesswork. Understanding the subsurface geology and identifying potential fracture zones before drilling can significantly improve the chances of targeting a productive borehole.

THE EXPERT WATER SURVEYOR STRIKES AGAIN IN MACHEKE! 💧🎯

This Is Yet Another successful Borehole Water Survey, with groundwater-bearing fractures interpreted at approximately 50m, 75m and 100m.

One major advantage of hydrogeological surveying is TARGETED DRILLING — it helps identify and prioritize FRACTURES likely to transmit and store groundwater, reducing the risk of drilling blindly and improving the chances of intercepting a productive water-bearing zone.

Don’t drill on guesswork. Understand the geology first.

FROM HYDROGEOPHYSICAL SURVEY TO SUCCESSFUL GROUNDWATER INTERCEPTION IN RUSAPE.. đź’§

A Borehole Water Survey we conducted in Rusape For Mr Zvodzi identified key groundwater-bearing fracture zones at approximately 18m, 30m and 40m.

Today, drilling confirmed the interpretation, with the identified fracture zones being successfully intercepted during borehole construction.

This is yet another field confirmation that Hydrogeology and Geophysics, when properly applied and interpreted, provide the scientific basis for targeting groundwater-bearing structures and improving the probability of high-yielding boreholes.

Hydrogeology is not guesswork — it is field experience, geological understanding, geophysical interpretation and evidence-based groundwater targeting.

Another successful confirmation from our client that The Expert Water Surveyor delivers where science meets experience. 💧🔍

FROM A DRY HOLE TO A WATER PRODUCING BOREHOLE.

After one dry borehole, Mr. Manake from Zvishavane,Mabasa📍 engaged us through a referral from Mr Zhinyu whom we did a borehole for in Gweru,Chiwundura📍. To solve the situation on the ground,we first calibrated the existing borehole(KUTARISA KUTI PASI PEBOREHOLE RAKACHERWA KARE PANE TSINGA DZEMVURA HERE), then conducted a full HydroGeophysical Water Survey of the whole site to see if we can get a new drill spot(KUTSVAGA PATSVA PANO CHEREKA CHIMWE CHIBHORANI). After comparing the two results the new point came out with the highest groundwater potential and i reccommended drilling a new borehole on the new point we had located.

Today, the client sent us this footage—the located water-bearing zone was successfully intercepted, with an excellent yield. 💦

Hydrogeology requires understanding geology, rock properties, weathering profiles, soil characteristics, topography, valleys, drainage patterns and structural controls on groundwater flow.

I hold years of field experience.Thousands of observations. Data-driven groundwater targeting.Drilling sites management and consultancy.

Two friends from the diaspora have embarked on a joint student accommodation project in Gweru for Midlands State University (MSU)Students. To ensure a reliable water supply for construction purposes they engaged The Expert Water Surveyor, following a strong local recommendation in Senga,KMP,Randolf & Adelaide Park.My assignment was to conduct HydroGeoPhysical Survey Assesments on all the 3 stands and locate the best drill spot with the highest water potential. The drilling was conducted on the same day and an excellent water yielding borehole was obtained.

•Location:Gweru , KMP📍.
•Survey Conducted By:Hydro-Geologist Mike.
•Report Compiled By : Hydro-Geologist Mike.
•GeoPhysical Prospecting Machine : PQWT M100.

RECCOMMENDED DRILL SPOT ON HYDRO-GEO GRAPH : POINT 3.

Depth Recommendation: Drill to a recommended total depth of 100 metres. The survey indicates three groundwater-bearing water fracture zones, with the primary target at approximately 45 m, followed by secondary fractures at 75 m and 95 m. Drilling to 100 m will intersect all interpreted water-bearing zones and maximise borehole yield.

Casing Recommendation: Install double casing through the loose overburden to competent bedrock, followed by PVC 140mm casing in all sections of the borehole from top to bottom.

Resistivity & Colour Codes Interpretation: The colour scale represents variations in electrical resistivity of the subsurface Not Mvura. Blue to green colours indicate lower resistivity, which is commonly associated with water-bearing fractures or saturated formations. Yellow to red colours indicate higher resistivity, representing more competent, dry, or massive rock with limited / no groundwater potential.
