FROM A MOUNTAINSIDE TO AN ENGINEERED HEAP-LEACH PAD! ⛰️➡️🏗️

When we arrived, there was no level platform only a steep, tree-covered mountainside and a serious engineering challenge.

We surveyed the site, cleared the working area, cut deep into the hillside, moved massive volumes of earth, spread the material and began shaping the foundation of a 30,000-tonne heap-leaching facility.

The transformation you see today was built through long shifts, heavy machinery, careful planning and a team determined to make it happen.

This is more than earthmoving.
This is engineering.
This is teamwork.
This is the journey—from a mountain to a mine-ready pad. 🇿🇼

⛏️🚧 MAKAHA PROJECT UPDATE: 10,000-TONNE VAT LEACHING SYSTEM

Work is progressing steadily on our 10,000-tonne VAT Leaching Project in Makaha.

Our team is currently constructing the trenches and directional solution channels that will guide the solution safely and efficiently towards the collection ponds.

Progress on site includes:

✅ Geomembrane liner welding underway
✅ VAT tank being carefully inspected and perfected
✅ Directional solution channels under construction
✅ Solution ponds scheduled for reshaping today
✅ Pipework deliveries underway
✅ Bricks and hessian sacks already on site awaiting installation

Every component is being carefully prepared to ensure proper solution flow, containment and efficient mineral recovery once the system becomes operational.

From earthworks and geomembrane installation to pipework, solution ponds and complete processing systems, StreamTec delivers practical, scalable mining solutions designed for real production.

Another 10,000-tonne mining project being delivered by StreamTec Geosynthetics.
